Precision Windows & Roofing: a website rebuilt with a page for every job and town
Precision Windows & Roofing, which rebranded from Precision Windows & Glass, is a roofing company in Garfield that also repairs and replaces windows and glass. Its old website came from a site builder. We rebuilt it in 2026 so someone searching for a foggy window repair or a roof leak in their town finds a page about that exact job, gets a rough idea of cost, sends photos for a quote and can call from any page.

For customers
What a homeowner can do on the site
Find the exact job
There are 43 service pages, from roof repair and replacement to foggy window repair, shower doors and storefront glass, each with its own steps, FAQs and related links.
Get a planning range
A window cost calculator gives a whole-house planning range rather than a per-window price, and a roof cost calculator does the same for a roof. Both lead to a real quote.
Ask for a quote with photos
A step-by-step quote form, roofing first, takes photos from the phone and shrinks them before upload, iPhone photos included, so they send on a cell connection.
Photo quote assistant (beta)
A homeowner sends a photo of broken, cracked or foggy glass, an AI model identifies what it shows, and the owner's own price sheet, not the AI, sets the price range. It is in beta and opens from links and ads, not for every visitor.
Sign the agreement online
After a final quote, the customer can approve and sign inside the chat and gets a private link to their copy. Signing only appears once the price and terms are confirmed, and any change needs a signed change order.
Help in Spanish
A Spanish roof repair page, "Se habla español" notices on busy pages and a WhatsApp button for customers who would rather write than call.
Google Ads
Landing pages and tracking for Google Ads
A search ad works when the click lands on a page that matches the ad and the business can tell which ad brought in each lead. That is how we set up Google Ads work.
Three ad landing pages
One each for roof repair, roof replacement and emergency roof repair, with an offer band and a list of towns. They are kept out of Google’s regular results so they never compete with the main pages, and their copy is locked until someone reviews a change.
Fast pages for ad clicks
Google's tracking tag waits until the visitor first scrolls or taps, so the landing page shows up sooner for someone who just clicked an ad.
Each lead tied to its ad
The ad click is carried through to the quote request, and the conversion is reported back to Google Ads and Google Analytics. The team also gets an email the moment someone taps to call or email.
Local pages
A page for every service, county and town
On October 6, 2026, the sitemap listed 515 URLs, 210 of them in an areas directory with a page for each of New Jersey’s 21 counties and the towns in them. Roofing, siding, gutters, chimneys and water damage restoration each have a hub with town pages. Every water damage town page was written from a checked list of local facts and compared with the others so no two read alike.
Guides and blog posts answer buying questions, such as double-hung versus casement windows and how to read a window quote. The domain of the company’s former roofing brand now forwards page by page to this site with permanent (301) redirects. Our pages for roofing companies and contractors cover how we plan sites for both trades.
In development
Built and in testing, not live yet
These features are written and tested on a development copy of the site. None of them is on the live site yet.
Instant Roof Estimate
A homeowner types an address, the tool checks it against New Jersey address and tax-parcel records, finds the house on state aerial photos and asks whether it is the right one. After six quick questions it shows a price range for that roof and explains why it is a range.
Adjustable roof outline
The customer can correct the building outline on the photo, and the edited shape is priced as drawn, within limits.
Roof measurement from lidar
Lidar is laser mapping of the ground and buildings, published by the U.S. Geological Survey. The tool uses it to measure roof pitch, and infrared aerial photos to check whether trees hide the roof.
Estimate emails and share links
The customer gets an emailed copy with a private link back to the estimate, and the team gets an email with the aerial photo and the outline.
Commercial roofs measured, not priced
Commercial, mixed-use and apartment buildings get the same outline and measurement, and the team prices them on the call.
Demo, progress steps and an accuracy check
An animated example house shows how the tool works, the lookup steps tick off as the server finishes each one, and a benchmark scores the estimator against real houses before any pricing model is released.
Search
Getting found on Google
What is in place so Google can find, read and trust the site. We don't publish a client's traffic or rankings.
In place: Every page in the sitemap, with real dates
Each page carries the date its content last changed, and every update tells Bing and its partners which pages changed, through IndexNow.
In place: The old roofing domain forwarded page by page
Each page of the old roofing site forwards to its match here, so Google can move the old site’s standing to the new address, and old page addresses redirect too.
In place: Business details Google can read
The business type, its contractor registration, hours, services, FAQs and articles are marked up on every page.
In place: Google profile and listings linked
Its Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Yelp, BBB, Houzz and other listings are linked from the footer and the site code.
In place: Calls and quote requests tracked
Google Analytics records each call tap and quote request, quote requests from ads are reported back to Google Ads, and the site is verified with Bing Webmaster Tools.
Under the hood
How it's built
The technical side of the rebuild.
From a single-page app to static pages
The old site was a single-page app that sent an almost empty page and filled it in with JavaScript. The rebuild uses Next.js and generates every page as complete HTML ahead of time, so search engines and visitors get the full content on the first request. The same approach is described on our web development page.
Structured data checked before every release
A JSON-LD graph, the code that describes the business, its registration, services, FAQs and articles to search engines, sits on every page. About 30 automatic checks stop a release if the FAQ markup drifts from the visible FAQ, breadcrumbs disagree with the site map, or a page states a per-unit price.
AI that never sets the price
The AI model records what it sees in the photo, and a fixed pricing engine turns that into a range from the owner's sheet. Hourly, daily and per-chat spending caps, bot detection, a service-area ZIP check and photo screening keep spam and AI costs down.
No lead lost in delivery
Every form, chat and signed agreement is queued and sent on to the company with retries until it arrives, so none is lost.
Protected forms
Origin checks, per-address and daily email limits, spam filtering and phone and email checks, including a lookup that the email domain can receive mail, protect the forms and the inbox.
