A dog training website that shows your dogs at work and answers owners before they call

Someone looking for a dog trainer usually has a problem to fix, like pulling on the leash or lunging at other dogs, or a big decision to make, like a board-and-train program or a fully trained dog. They read and watch a lot before they call. We build websites for dog trainers with a page for each program, your own videos on pages of their own, plain answers about price and an inquiry form that asks about the dog.

Work

Dog training sites we have built

Superior Protection Dogs, a North Texas business that places trained family protection dogs and runs a guided puppy program, with a website rebuilt in 2026.

Programs

A page for each way you train

Private lessons, group classes, day training, board-and-train, puppy programs and fully trained dogs are different purchases. Each one gets its own page, so an owner searching for board-and-train lands on that page and not on a list of everything you offer.

Superior Protection Dogs has two programs, fully trained protection dogs and Build Your Own Pup, a guided puppy-raising path. Each has its own page, and a third page compares them and says plainly who each one does not suit.

  • Who it suits, and who it does not

An owner whose dog bites visitors needs a different program from one whose puppy chews shoes. Saying who a program is not for saves both of you a wasted call.

  • What the owner does at home

How much practice the family does between sessions, and what happens if they skip it. Owners appreciate knowing before they pay.

  • How long, and what comes after

The number of weeks or sessions, what the dog should be doing by the end, and the follow-up that comes with it.

  • The program filled in for them

Every program page has an inquiry button that opens the form with that program already chosen, as Superior Protection Dogs' buttons do.

Videos

Training videos on pages Google can show

Video sells dog training better than any paragraph, and Google can show a video in search results when it is the main thing on its page (Google's video guidelines). Google defines a watch page as one whose main purpose is a single video, and a clip tucked into the homepage is not that.

Superior Protection Dogs learned this from Search Console, Google's own report on a site, which flagged a video with no page of its own. Each of its two films now has a watch page with a poster image and a written transcript, and neither starts playing by itself. The films were cut to a fraction of their original file size, so they load on a phone.

YouTube works too. A watch page on your own site can play a YouTube video, with your transcript and inquiry button around it.

Pricing

Three honest ways to handle price

Owners want a number early. Each of these answers the question without inventing one.

FitsPublish your pricesGroup classes and lesson packages with a fixed pricePublish a rangeBoard-and-train and private work that varies by dogExplain how you quoteTrained dogs and programs priced dog by dog
What the page saysPublish your pricesThe price, what it includes and what costs extraPublish a rangeThe range and what moves a dog up or down itExplain how you quoteWhy there is no list price, and what the market charges
Keep it honestPublish your pricesUpdate it the day prices changePublish a rangeOnly a range you actually quote insideExplain how you quoteCite where every outside price came from

Superior Protection Dogs uses the third way: a guide built from other companies' published prices and press reports, which also explains why the business posts no price of its own.

Proof

Proof an owner can check

Owners know a trainer's claims are easy to make. The site wins trust with things a careful buyer can verify.

  • Credentials linked to the source

List only what you hold, and link each one to the organization's own listing. Superior Protection Dogs links the trials where both owners are listed as decoys to the Protection Sports Association's website.

  • The exact role, and nothing bigger

A decoy is the person in the padded suit the dogs work against at a trial. The site claims that role and nothing bigger, and a modest claim that checks out does more than a large one that does not.

  • Methods in plain words

Owners search for training styles by name. Say how you train and which tools you use, so the right owners call and the wrong ones do not.

  • Your own dogs on camera

Footage of dogs you trained, filmed by you. Reviews, when you have them, are quoted exactly as clients wrote them.

Guides

Guides and breed pages for the weeks of research

Owners read for weeks before choosing a trainer, and many of the questions they type into Google can become a page on your site. Superior Protection Dogs publishes thirteen long guides, on reading a protection demo, spotting scams, sport titles against real protection, homeowners insurance, the first 90 days at home and buying from out of state. Each one is sourced and names the owner who wrote it.

Its breed pages cover the Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherd and German Shepherd: drive, fit with a household and where each breed goes wrong. Breed pages suit a trainer who works with particular breeds. A general obedience trainer gets more from pages about problems, such as leash pulling, puppy biting or barking at the window, each saying when a vet or behaviorist should be the first call.

Inquiry form

An inquiry form that asks about the dog

A trainer can tell a lot from a few answers: the dog's age and breed, what is happening, and who lives in the house. The form asks those before the first call, so you know whether to suggest an evaluation, a class or a referral.

Superior Protection Dogs' form asks which program the family wants and still sends if the page's scripts fail to load. The family gets a confirmation email, and the owners get the inquiry in an email they can answer with a reply. A tap on the phone number, email address or a social link sends the owners an alert right away, and the privacy page tells visitors about it.

Local pages

City pages only where you have something to say

A trainer who comes to the house and one with a training facility set up Google Maps differently: the first lists the towns it drives to, the second shows its address. Our local SEO page covers those settings.

Superior Protection Dogs has pages for Dallas-Fort Worth, where the owners are, and for Houston, Austin and San Antonio, which they deliver to, and each page says which is which. Every page is built around something specific to keeping a protection dog in that city, and a hub page explains why other cities have no page. That restraint is what keeps city pages from reading as copies.

Questions

Dog trainer website questions

Our clients find us on Instagram. Why do we need a website?

Instagram shows the dogs. It does not answer how much a program costs, which one fits, or how to book, and a Google search for a trainer in town mostly turns up websites and Maps listings, not posts. The site holds those answers, and your posts can link to the matching program page.

Who writes the guides?

We draft them from conversations with you, check every outside fact against its source, and you approve each one before it goes up. Your name goes on them, because owners want to know who is giving the advice.

We train in clients' homes across several towns. Do we need a page for each town?

Not at first. List the towns as service areas on your Google profile and name them on the site. Add a town page when you have something specific to say about training there. Our New Jersey page explains how far a business can reach from one base.

Can owners book an evaluation online?

Yes. An evaluation with a fixed length and price fits a booking calendar on the site. Programs priced dog by dog still start with the inquiry form and a call.

Next step

Tell us how you train and what owners ask

Send your programs, a few of your videos and the questions you answer on every first call. We reply with a written proposal for the program pages, watch pages and inquiry form.
