Alaeddin's Pizza: a pizzeria website built to show up when people nearby search for halal pizza
Alaeddin's Pizza is a halal pizzeria and Italian kitchen that opened in Paterson in 1998 and later moved to Clifton. Its older website came from a previous vendor. We rebuilt it in 2026 so someone searching for pizza, halal food or Italian food in Clifton, Paterson or Passaic finds the full menu, a page about their neighborhood and a button to order online.

For customers
What a hungry visitor finds
This was web design for a busy local restaurant: every page leads to ordering or calling.
The whole menu
All 16 menu categories and about 200 dishes, with descriptions. Prices show only at online checkout, so the website never disagrees with the ordering page.
A page for each specialty pie
Pages for 13 specialty pizzas, from Buffalo Chicken to Beef Pine Nut, plus halal pizza pages for Clifton and Paterson, each with ingredients, pairings and ordering tips.
Order and call from anywhere
Order Online buttons across the site link to the online ordering page the restaurant uses, and phones get a tap-to-call button in the header. Delivery, pickup and hours pages show the same hours in English and Spanish.
Catering and party orders
Pages for catering trays, the 28-inch party pizza, birthday pizza and specials help families plan a big order and call for a quote.
Reviews and photos
Reviews quoted word for word from public Google reviews, none written or edited by us, next to photos of the storefront and the food.
The real story
The About page tells how the restaurant opened in Paterson in 1998 and later moved to Clifton.
Local pages
Pages for the towns and neighborhoods nearby
Clifton, Paterson and Passaic each have a page, and eight neighborhood pages, such as Botany Village and South Paterson, list real drive times, landmarks and local questions. A halal section answers the searches people make, from halal pizza near me to halal wings, calzones, cheesesteaks and Eid and Ramadan catering, using only claims the owner confirmed.
Five guides signed by the family, such as what makes pizza halal and how much pizza to order for a party, answer questions people ask Google and AI assistants. The sitemap listed 69 URLs on October 6, 2026. This is the local SEO part of the project, and our restaurant websites page covers the rest.
Spanish
A Spanish version for Spanish-speaking customers
Eleven Spanish pages cover the menu, delivery, catering, party pizza, halal food, Italian food and the pizzeria pages for Clifton, Paterson and Passaic. Each one pairs with its English page through a language switch in the header, and the pages say that phone orders can be taken in Spanish.
Search
Getting found on Google
What is in place so Google can find, read and trust the site. We don't publish a client's traffic or rankings.
In place: Every page in the sitemap, Spanish included
The sitemap lists the English and Spanish pages and says which pages are translations of each other.
In place: Restaurant details Google can read
Hours, location, menu, ordering link and languages are marked up for search engines on every page.
In place: Listings linked
Its Google Maps, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Grubhub, DoorDash, Zabihah and Foursquare listings are linked from the site code.
In place: Pages added from Search Console
Pages for brick oven pizza, halal calzones, halal cheesesteak, Italian food, reviews and photos were added after Search Console showed people searching for them.
In place: Leftovers from the old site retired
Old WordPress addresses tell Google they are gone for good, so it stops spending its visits on them.
Under the hood
How it's built
The technical choices behind the restaurant site.
Next.js, with flat hosting costs
Every page is generated ahead of time as static HTML with no scheduled rebuilds, which keeps hosting costs flat. It is a custom web development build in Next.js.
Spanish without moving the English pages
The Spanish pages live under /es, so no English address changed. One list of English and Spanish pairs drives the hreflang tags, which tell Google which page translates which, plus the sitemap, the language switch and the footers.
Restaurant markup
Structured data, code that describes the restaurant to search engines, carries the hours, map coordinates, menu, ordering link, languages and founding date and place, and every dish is marked up as a menu item.
The old site cleaned up
Leftover addresses from the old WordPress site answer with "gone" so Google stops visiting them, and guide addresses that AI search tools made up now redirect to the real guides.
Light images and gentle animation
Photos are served in modern compressed formats and cached for a year. The homepage animation, made with GSAP, respects reduced-motion settings and never hides content that has already appeared.
