Check a roof in seven questions
Inspired by the Roof Health Assessment we built the Zubar Roofing website around: the places water gets in count the most, and one active leak outweighs a good average. Stuck? Press Show me how in the window.

Sample data
Sample data · nothing is sent or saved
Seven quick questions about what you can see from the ground. It takes about two minutes.
Nothing is sent from this sample. On a roofer's website, the result goes to the roofer as a new lead. It is guidance, not an inspection.
Step by step
How to use it
The same steps the Show me how button walks you through in the window, one at a time.
Seven quick questions
Answer from what you can see from the ground. The bar fills in as you go.
Tap the picture that fits
Pick the answer closest to your roof. The colors hint at what it means: teal is a good sign, orange is worth watching, coral needs attention.
Get a tip right away
Each answer shows what it means for your roof, in plain words.

Back changes an earlier answer. Pressing Enter also moves you to the next question.
Your score out of 100
Higher is healthier. Teal means looking good, orange means keep an eye on it, coral means call a roofer soon.

The real thing
What the real version does
On a roofer’s website, a check like this turns a worried homeowner into a phone call. Zubar’s site pairs it with an assessment done in person.
The result becomes a lead
On a roofer’s site, the answers and the score go to the office as a new request, so the roofer knows what to expect before calling back.
An assessment the homeowner keeps
Zubar’s crew checks the roof in person and leaves a written report the homeowner keeps, whether or not they hire Zubar.
The method is on the page
Zubar’s assessment page publishes the parts of the roof it checks, how much each counts and what each score band means.
Questions
Common questions
Is this a real roof inspection?
No. It is guidance from what you can see from the ground and the attic. Only a roofer on the roof can say what condition it is in.
Why can one answer cap the score?
Because an average can hide a leak. A roof with good shingles and a drip in the attic still lets water in, so the score cannot read as healthy.
Is this the same scoring Zubar Roofing uses?
No. These questions and weights are a sample we wrote. Zubar’s assessment is done in person, and its own method is published on its website.
Under the hood
How it's built
For the technically curious. This is part of our web design work.
The seven questions and their weights are stored as data, and the weights add up to 100. Each answer earns part of its question’s points. An answer that means water is getting in, or storm damage was seen, caps the score below 50, because a roof is only as dry as its worst spot.
The weights and score bands in this sample are our own, not any company’s scoring system. On Zubar’s site, the published method is also described in the page’s structured data, so search engines read the Roof Health Score as one named idea.
